California Trailer Park & Hotel - El Sauzal (Baja California)

I stayed in room #2, and I was disappointed by the awful sewer smell that permeated the room. Although I enjoyed a hot coffee from the front desk, the ambiance was ruined by the stench from the nearby polluted river. We ended up leaving early because the conditions were unbearable and the beach where we were supposed to relax was completely dirty and uninviting.

I got very nicely furnished room with flat screen cable TV and Wi-Fi. The views to ocean were great.

Fairly clean hotel, I loved very friendly and caring staff. The location was unbeatable and stunning, near ' downtown ' Ensenada. It also was on the coast. Had immaculate and reasonably large room, it included cable TV and Wi-Fi. I could see ocean from the room.

The ocean view rooms are fine. Everything felt homey with a cute little kitchen and easy beach access.

Noise from heavy trucks rumbling along the main road is an annoyance!!! Charging for the lobby Keurig is a cheap move!!! Taxi service is overpriced and sketchy. It needs better management!!!

The california trailer park & hotel is in a great quiet location, just 4 miles from central ensenada. The rooms were super clean and had nice modern upgrades. I loved the stairs down to the beach. It felt super easy to find and park!

Spacious and clean rooms with helpful staff

The staff were accommodating and friendly, our needs were met, including fixing a shower-head issue promptly. The water quality had a noticeable smell that could be improved.

The location is fantastic and feels quiet, just a short drive from central Ensenada. The rooms were super clean and had modern upgrades. I particularly enjoyed the easy access to the beach, with stairs leading right down to the sand. I did encounter a minor issue with the locking mechanisms on the windows, which made me feel a little uneasy. It was a pleasant experience.

The rooms were impressively clean, with our bungalow equipped with a full-size fridge and kitchen. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile, even helping with ironing our clothes at no cost. There were no clothing irons in the rooms, and it would have been nice to have more dining options available besides the corn flakes. The quiet setting at night was a huge plus.

central base for great walks and nearby attractions

staying here was fantastic, as we were just around the corner from the beautiful san miguel beach and only minutes away from the vibrant first street, perfect for leisurely strolls while exploring local shops and dining options.

I adored the cozy atmosphere and easy beach access. The simple decor felt inviting. The ocean view from my room was a good bonus.

More accessible seating in common areas would help.

Pleasant Stay with Friendly Service

The constant hum of passing trucks wasn't overly disruptive. Dining options nearby are good, try the local taco stands for an authentic experience. Plan to revisit soon!
